Australia was completely isolated from the rest of the world for 40,000 years. During this period a unique flora and fauna developed across the entire continent: almost 30% of all animals and plants can only be found in Australia: including flying foxes, the world’s most poisonous snakes and 2700 plant species. Maybe there are more to be discovered?

Australia is the world’s smallest continent but its largest island. It is almost the same area as the United States of America however with a population only the size of New York State.

A land of breathtaking contrasts and spectacular beauty. Along its coastline you can discover lively multicultural cities, enjoy safaris over vast sandy islands, hike through the ancient rainforests, as well as dive and snorkel in the waters of the Great Barrier Reef. In the outback, rugged national parks and red-earthed deserts offer the ultimate adventure trip.
