YOUR PERSONAL "BUCKET LIST"
From time to time we would also like to use our News page to suggest ideas for your very own bucket list. A bucket list is a list on which you write down all the goals, wishes and things that you would like to achieve or experience in your life.
The origin of the English idiom goes back to the Middle Ages and does not have such a polite meaning: "To kick the bucket" then meant that the executioner kicked away the bucket on which the convicted person was standing on during their execution.
The bucket list has developed over the last few decades so that people write a list with all the wishes they would like to experience before they die. Most people now use this list in a positive sense. We too: ours hang in the office :-)
We would therefore like to suggest that you write your own Australia and / or New Zealand bucket list. We are curious to find out what you would like to experience Down Under!
